3rd Annual Turtle Release: Rescued hatchling turtles released

Turtle hatching season is upon us! On August 30th, the Huron Stewardship Council joined forces with Ausable Bayfield Conservation to celebrate our newest arrivals. Throughout the afternoon, forty snapping turtle hatchlings were released into the wild at Morrison Dam Conservation Area. This event has been gaining in popularity, and we were thrilled to see over 900 people attend this year! Third Annual Turtle Release – August 30th in Exeter (1-5pm)

  Join the Huron Stewardship Council and Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority as we release hatchling painted and snapping turtles into the wild at Morrison Dam Conservation Area (71108 Morrison Line, 2km east of Exeter, south of Hwy. 83).
